At our final Trash Extravaganza of the year, Friday 11/22, we finished the job we started a few weeks ago, cleaning up the land behind North Lake Physical Therapy and along Power Line Road.
The first 30 minutes were a monsoon-level downpour, but we were able to finish the job we started! To accomplish this feat we needed one 30 yard, and one 40 yard dropbox on two separate days! We were even able to dispose of an old fiberglass boat shell that had plagued the land for many years.
We picked up A LOT of junk!!
We had 10 neighbors/volunteers with lived experience join for this super muddy, super memorable, cleanup and each of them received a $100 gift card to enjoy right before Thanksgiving!
We might have been covered in mud, but it was well worth it to make this place not only cleaner but safer as well!
Thanks to our fabulous volunteers, local businesses, and of course all the phenomenal folks at Solve!!
Our incredible team will be back at it again, cleaning up Clackamas County in the new year!!
